Reviews King George’s Medical College (KGMU) ,Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
Overview: The five-year MBBS program consists of a one-year internship and 4.5 years of theoretical study. I chose this course because I can only become a doctor, which is my ultimate goal. This course is very demanding, with two terminal exams, one final professional exam, and regular part completion tests each year.
Internship Prospects: The government pays a stipend of up to rupees 20,000 per month, and we are required to complete our internship at the same college where we completed our MBBS program. We must take the NEET PG exam after our internship, where we are assigned branches based on our ranks.
Campus Life: In February, we have an annual festival called AAGHAZ, which gives us numerous chances to display our talent in sporting and cultural contexts. We can engage in a variety of sports, including football, volleyball, badminton, basketball, table tennis, and relay races. Cultural activities include face painting, rangoli making, dancing, singing, dramatics, and skits.
Facilities for Hostels: We have a room with two beds. However, there isn’t as much room for two students to live. The food is of good quality, and each day we receive a proper menu, but it is devoid of fruits and other nutritious foods. At the time of admission, we can apply for a hostel.
