Established in 2010 as Kerala’s first medical college with 150 seats, Malabar Medical College and Research Centre have maintained an unwavering commitment to developing top medical professionals and producing many top ranks for MBBS examinations. Now set to offer 200 MBBS seats starting with the academic year 2023-24 – having secured all necessary approvals from state government and university authorities, plus the pending National Medical Commission approval.
The medical college has provided general postgraduate surgery and medicine courses (D.N.B.) since 2013. There are currently 28 seats available in MD/MS courses across 10 specialties, with four each for General Medicine (4 seats), M.S. General Surgery (2 seats), and M.D. Pediatrics (4 seats), Orthopaedics(4 seats), Ophthalmology(3 seats), E.N.T. (2 seats), Psychiatry(2 seats), Dermatology(3 seats), Community Medicine(2 seats), and 25 more seats will be added during the academic session 2023-24;
